A Journey to A Place Called Forever

Love can be shared to everyone. Love can never be define as just a happiness. It always require the right timing and the right amount respect. With everything combined, weddings do happens..

Weddings are one of the exciting event that a woman can have after her debut- a fairy tale of a prince and princess that is united by the power of love, sacrifice, happiness and sadness. It is a ritual when people gather together to celebrate love and witness the uniqueness of the bond that can be shared for the rest of the our lives. This is the time that we can feel a sudden gush of emotion, unexplainable feeling and a moment that we realized that attraction may lead into something that can define Forever.

Forever is not just definable by words, time and space. It can be defined on how can we give and how can we love, a journey that is never-ending and a bond that cannot be broken by any human circumstances.
Lucky are the ones who find forever, it is not just on the time you spend but on how you spend together.

As I wrote this blog, we had celebrated the oneness of the two people dear to my heart. They made me believe that fairy tale was not just written in any story matter but rather a reality that can be shared and can be experience by anyone. They have been together for not so quite a long time but I could say that they can stand in the test of time by the love they have in their hearts.

When I got married, I thought I have found my forever. I thought he gave me my own fairy tale story that I have dreamt of, but I was wrong, and  after that, I never believed in forever after all. Then after today, this two people shared their happiness not just to me, but also to the people who they've loved the most to witness their own journey to forever. They showed me happiness in their smiles on how they say their I do's, and gave me tingly feeling in my spine and the butterflies in the stomach that once I felt at that moment when I was at their place, and believed that I had my forever after.. But today is a celebration, a celebration of a new love to hold on for forever and devotion to fulfill each other responsibilities to work on this road to forever, and this I say to you.

To you, my favorite sister in law Dahl and my little brother Tim, may you have the undefiable faith in God that nothing is impossible to Him and that love can always keep you together and may you believe that marriage is often been compared to a piece of work that needs a lot of patience and requires a lot of understanding. May this will not be not end of your happily ever after...

Everything is a Matter of Choice

"Destiny is not a matter of chance but a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for but to be achieved". 

Lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay natin ay outcome ng mga bagay na pinipili natin. Everything is a matter of choice 'ika nga. Choice mo mamili sa mangyayari sa buhay mo, sa mga taong makakasama mo sa buhay at mga bagay na gusto mo mangyari. Kasama ng matter of choice ang matter of chance. Ang chance ang nagbibigay sa atin ng option kung kukunin ba natin ang pagkakataon na ibininibigay ng panahon na naaangkop sa sitwasyon natin. We have the option to take the chance or pakawalan nalang natin, it's really all up to us. It's really hard to choose to all of the options that life has to offer. It can makes us a better person or break us to try again.

Sa buhay ko, napakaraming chances at choices na napalagpas ko, however, I can't afford to regret anything because of the lesson and the wisdom I have learned. Sabi sa akin ng Mommy ko, I should not dwell on the past, kasi tapos na yun. Wala na akong dapat pagsisihan sa mga choices ko  kasi hindi na maibabalik ang mga chances na nakalipas. I maybe not as successful as I have dreamt to be when I was younger, I maybe not in the place where I should to be and I maybe not with the person I really wanted and loved deeply, but I am happy of where, what and whom I am with now. Though madaming "what might have been"  at maraming what if's  ang laging nagtatanong sa akin. What my life could have been, my lifestyle, my work environment, my friends and most specially my marriage, if I have took all the chances and if I have chose the alternate route that life has offered me, would I be the same person I am now? What could have done differently? But honestly, I never wanted to go back, I don't want to change even a single event that happened in the past. It's all done.Past is past, we can never undo or change it but instead we need to accept the consequences and learn from all the possibilities that can be done.

Lagi natin iisipin na lahat dito sa mundo ay may rason at na sa'yo ang choice kung ano ang dapat mong gawin. Wala kang dapat sisihin o dapat isipin kung 'di un choice mo para maging masaya. You are responsible on your own happiness, choose what makes you happy. Masaya ang mundo, tanging ikaw lang ang pipili para sa ikakasaya mo at ikaw din ang pipili ng mga taong makakasama mo sa mga chances na darating sa buhay mo. You need to choose the people that will help you to get through in life through thick and thin. Ikaw ang pipili ng mga taong makakasama mo for the rest of your journey in life. For now, all we need to do is to enjoy what we choose and love the chances we take. 

How to be Happy

Marami tayong pinagdaraanan sa buhay na unos, pagkabigo sa pag-ibig at sa araw araw na pakikibaka na parang sundalo na walang hanggan lumalaban sa giyera at kung paano malalagpasan ang bawat araw na may saya ng tagumpay. Para sa akin, happiness is always a choice.  Yan na ata ang naging motto ko sa buhay. You are responsible for your own happiness, hindi mo kailangan sino at nino man para mging masaya.. Naglista ako ng mga motivational quotes na pwedeng maging hakbang para maging masaya.

1. Always count your Blessing - be thankful for what you have.
2. Never Assume, Never Expect - Expectation can lead to disappointment
3.. Love yourself - walang taong magmamahal sa'yo ng totoo kung di mo mamahalin sarili mo
4.. Have a Positive Outlook in Life - have faith that things will work out just fine
5. Say What You Mean - choose your words wisely. kapag nakapanakit ka, walang bawian
6. Let go of the things that hurt you- hindi mo kailangan na laging masktan. you deserve to be happy
7. Always think of a happy thought - parang sa peter pan, para ma-lift up ang spirits mo

Para sa Broken Hearted

This book was written by Marcelo Santos III. Napagalaman ko lang ito sa mga kaibigan ko na mahilig sa libro. Nacurious ako dahil sa title palang ng talga ay sobrang nakakaacurious kung ano ba talaga ang libro na 'to. Kung sa unang tingin, aakalain mo na ito ay isang guide para sa mga broken-hearted. Pero mali. Ito ay isang nobela na magbibigay inspirasyon sa pagkakadapa sa pag-ibig. 

"Kapag ba nagkatuluyan na kayo ng taong mahal mo, happy ending na yun?"

Unang tanong na bubulaga sa isipan na gusto mong masagot lingid sa iyong kaalaman. Lahat ng tao ay gusto ng happy ending, sinong tao bang hindi 'di ba? Totoo bang may happy ending? Ayon sa libro, ang happy ending ay pinipili at hindi hinihintay. Lahat naman ng bagay ay pinipili. Lahat ay matter of choice. Choice mo kung magiging miserable ka o magiging masaya. Sa bawat storya ng karakter sa librong ito ay nakarelate ako sa storya ni Jackie. Ang pinakamasakit sa isang relasyon ay ang iwanan at lokohin. Yung ibinigay mo na ang buong sarili mo at buong pagkatao mo sa taong minahal mo, pero ang kapalit noon ay iniwan ka at ipagpalit. Napakanganda ng librong ito, totoong ngang para sa mga broken hearted. Sa bawat salita na binitawan at mga salitang ginamit ay mararamdaman mo yun sakit at pait ng taong umibig ng totoo at nasaktan. Ang akala ko nga noong una, sa totoong buhay ko lang maririnig ang mga batuhan ng salita ng mga karakter na involve sa kwentong ito, halos bumalik lahat ng sakit at alaalang pumatay sa akin puso nung araw na yun. Halos di ko mapigilang lumuha na parang isang ilog na di matapos ang pag-agos papuntang dagat ng mga pait. Ganon pala talaga yun, akala mo na ok ka na, na naka move on ka na, pero ang totoo meron pa rin na kirot na pilit na kumakalabit at nagpapaalala sa masakit na nakaraan. Masakit man pero wala naman tayong ibang gagawin kung di tanggapin at harapin sa bawat araw na wala na ang taong nakasanayan natin at minahal natin. Sabi nga nila, Acceptance is the key. Ang masasabi ko rin, hindi lang ito libro para sa mga nasaktan, maganda rin itong basahin ng mga taong nais makahanap ng kani-kanilang pag-asa at ng kanilang happy ending.
